#1 Al-Anfal :16 — English , Mohammad Habib Shakir

[ And whoever shall turn his back to them on that day-- unless he turn aside for the sake of fighting or withdraws to a company-- then he, indeed, becomes deserving of Allah's wrath, and his abode is hell; and an evil destination shall it be. ]

[ ومن يولهم يومئذ دبره إلا متحرفا لقتال أو متحيزا إلى فئة فقد باء بغضب من الله ومأواه جهنم وبئس المصير ] — الأنفال 16

#2 Al-A'raf :175 — English , Mohammad Habib Shakir

[ And recite to them the narrative of him to whom We give Our communications, but he withdraws himself from them, so the Shaitan overtakes him, so he is of those who go astray. ]

[ واتل عليهم نبأ الذي آتيناه آياتنا فانسلخ منها فأتبعه الشيطان فكان من الغاوين ] — الأعراف 175

[ And when We show favor to man, he turns aside and withdraws himself; and when evil touches him, he makes lengthy supplications. ]

[ وإذا أنعمنا على الإنسان أعرض ونأى بجانبه وإذا مسه الشر فذو دعاء عريض ] — فصلت 51
