#1 Al-A'raf :195 — English , Mohammad Habib Shakir

[ Have they feet with which they walk, or have they hands with which they hold, or have they eyes with which they see, or have they ears with which they hear? Say: Call your associates, then make a struggle (to prevail) against me and give me no respite. ]

[ ألهم أرجل يمشون بها أم لهم أيد يبطشون بها أم لهم أعين يبصرون بها أم لهم آذان يسمعون بها قل ادعوا شركاءكم ثم كيدون فلا تنظرون ] — الأعراف 195

#2 At-Tawba :8 — English , Mohammad Habib Shakir

[ How (can it be)! while if they prevail against you, they would not pay regard in your case to ties of relationship, nor those of covenant; they please you with their mouths while their hearts do not consent; and most of them are transgressors. ]

[ كيف وإن يظهروا عليكم لا يرقبوا فيكم إلا ولا ذمة يرضونكم بأفواههم وتأبى قلوبهم وأكثرهم فاسقون ] — التوبة 8

#3 Al-Anbiyaa :44 — English , Mohammad Habib Shakir

[ Nay, We gave provision to these and their fathers until life was prolonged to them. Do they not then see that We are visiting the land, curtailing it of its sides? Shall they then prevail? ]

[ بل متعنا هؤلاء وآباءهم حتى طال عليهم العمر أفلا يرون أنا نأتي الأرض ننقصها من أطرافها أفهم الغالبون ] — الأنبياء 44

#4 Al-Haaqqa :7 — English , Mohammad Habib Shakir

[ Which He made to prevail against them for seven nights and eight days unremittingly, so that you might have seen the people therein prostrate as if they were the trunks of hollow palms. ]

[ سخرها عليهم سبع ليال وثمانية أيام حسوما فترى القوم فيها صرعى كأنهم أعجاز نخل خاوية ] — الحاقة 7

#5 Al-FatH :28 — English , Mohammad Habib Shakir

[ He it is Who sent His Apostle with the guidance and the true religion that He may make it prevail over all the religions; and Allah is enough for a witness. ]

[ هو الذي أرسل رسوله بالهدى ودين الحق ليظهره على الدين كله وكفى بالله شهيدا ] — الفتح 28

#6 At-Tawba :33 — English , Mohammad Habib Shakir

[ He it is Who sent His Apostle with guidance and the religion of truth, that He might cause it to prevail over all religions, though the polytheists may be averse. ]

[ هو الذي أرسل رسوله بالهدى ودين الحق ليظهره على الدين كله ولو كره المشركون ] — التوبة 33

#7 Al-Kahf :20 — English , Mohammad Habib Shakir

[ For surely if they prevail against you they would stone you to death or force you back to their religion, and then you will never succeed. ]

[ إنهم إن يظهروا عليكم يرجموكم أو يعيدوكم في ملتهم ولن تفلحوا إذا أبدا ] — الكهف 20

[ Then We gave you back the turn to prevail against them, and aided you with wealth and children and made you a numerous band. ]

[ ثم رددنا لكم الكرة عليهم وأمددناكم بأموال وبنين وجعلناكم أكثر نفيرا ] — الإسراء 6

#9 Al-Mujadila :21 — English , Mohammad Habib Shakir

[ Allah has written down: I will most certainly prevail, I and My apostles; surely Allah is Strong, Mighty. ]

[ كتب الله لأغلبن أنا ورسلي إن الله قوي عزيز ] — المجادلة 21
