#1 Al-Ma'idah :101 — English , Mohammad Habib Shakir

[ O you who believe! do not put questions about things which if declared to you may trouble you, and if you question about them when the Quran is being revealed, they shall be declared to you; Allah pardons this, and Allah is Forgiving, Forbearing. ]

[ يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تسألوا عن أشياء إن تبد لكم تسؤكم وإن تسألوا عنها حين ينزل القرآن تبد لكم عفا الله عنها والله غفور حليم ] — المائدة 101

#2 Ash-Shura :30 — English , Mohammad Habib Shakir

[ And whatever affliction befalls you, it is on account of what your hands have wrought, and (yet) He pardons most (of your faults). ]

[ وما أصابكم من مصيبة فبما كسبت أيديكم ويعفو عن كثير ] — الشورى 30

[ And He it is Who accepts repentance from His servants and pardons the evil deeds and He knows what you do; ]
