to
the
three
who
were
left
behind,
until
the
earth
became
strait
to
them
notwithstanding
its
spaciousness
and
their
souls
were
also
straitened
to
them;
and
they
knew
it
for
certain
that
there
was
no
refuge
from
Allah
but
in
Him;
then
He
turned
to
them
(mercifully)
that
they
might
turn
(to
Him);
surely
Allah
is
the
Oft-returning
(to
mercy),
the
Merciful.

Therefore
(for)
whomsoever
Allah
intends
that
He
would
guide
him
aright,
He
expands
his
breast
for
Islam,
and
(for)
whomsoever
He
intends
that
He
should
cause
him
to
err,
He
makes
his
breast
strait
and
narrow
as
though
he
were
ascending
upwards;
thus
does
Allah
lay
uncleanness
on
those
who
do
not
believe.

Certainly
Allah
helped
you
in
many
battlefields
and
on
the
day
of
Hunain,
when
your
great
numbers
made
you
vain,
but
they
availed
you
nothing
and
the
earth
became
strait
to
you
notwithstanding
its
spaciousness,
then
you
turned
back
retreating.
