#1 Al-Hajj :65 — English , Mohammad Habib Shakir

[ Do you not see that Allah has made subservient to you whatsoever is in the earth and the ships running in the sea by His command? And He withholds the heaven from falling on the earth except with His permission; most surely Allah is Compassionate, Merciful to men. ]

[ ألم تر أن الله سخر لكم ما في الأرض والفلك تجري في البحر بأمره ويمسك السماء أن تقع على الأرض إلا بإذنه إن الله بالناس لرءوف رحيم ] — الحج 65

#2 Al-Hadid :12 — English , Mohammad Habib Shakir

[ On that day you will see the faithful men and the faithful women-- their light running before them and on their right hand-- good news for you today: gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein, that is the grand achievement. ]

[ يوم ترى المؤمنين والمؤمنات يسعى نورهم بين أيديهم وبأيمانهم بشراكم اليوم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها ذلك هو الفوز العظيم ] — الحديد 12

[ And a man came running from the remotest part of the city. He said: O Musa! surely the chiefs are consulting together to slay you, therefore depart (at once); surely I am of those who wish well to you. ]

[ وجاء رجل من أقصى المدينة يسعى قال يا موسى إن الملأ يأتمرون بك ليقتلوك فاخرج إني لك من الناصحين ] — القصص 20

[ He said: Nay! cast down. then lo! their cords and their rods-- it was imaged to him on account of their magic as if they were running. ]

[ قال بل ألقوا فإذا حبالهم وعصيهم يخيل إليه من سحرهم أنها تسعى ] — طه 66

[ If they could find a refuge or cave or a place to enter into, they would certainly have turned thereto, running away in all haste. ]

[ And from the remote part of the city there came a man running, he said: O my people! follow the apostles; ]
