[ The life of this world is made to seem fair to those who disbelieve, and they mock those who believe, and those who guard (against evil) shall be above them on the day of resurrection; and Allah gives means of subsistence to whom he pleases without measure. ]

[ زين للذين كفروا الحياة الدنيا ويسخرون من الذين آمنوا والذين اتقوا فوقهم يوم القيامة والله يرزق من يشاء بغير حساب ] — البقرة 212

[ Then when their apostles came to them with clear arguments, they exulted in what they had with them of knowledge, and there beset them that which they used to mock. ]

[ فلما جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات فرحوا بما عندهم من العلم وحاق بهم ما كانوا به يستهزئون ] — غافر 83

[ Then evil was the end of those who did evil, because they | rejected the communications of Allah and used to mock them. ]

[ ثم كان عاقبة الذين أساءوا السوأى أن كذبوا بآيات الله وكانوا بها يستهزئون ] — الروم 10

[ So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. ]

[ Alas for the servants! there comes not to them an apostle but they mock at him. ]
