Ibrahim
asking
forgiveness
for
his
sire
was
only
owing
to
a
promise
which
he
had
made
to
him;
but
when
it
became
clear
to
him
that
he
was
an
enemy
of
Allah,
he
declared
himself
to
be
clear
of
him;
most
surely
Ibrahim
was
very
tender-hearted
forbearing.

Therefore,

their
breaking
their
covenant
and
their
disbelief
in
the
communications
of
Allah
and
their
killing
the
prophets
wrongfully
and
their
saying:
Our
hearts
are
covered;
nay!
Allah
set
a
seal
upon
them
owing
to
their
unbelief,
so
they
shall
not
believe
except
a
few.
